Roman came into our rescue program on July 26, 2008. Roman came from the Animal Welfare Division. Roman is estimated to be 9 years old. Roman is a Bay, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Roman is a sweet boy that has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Roman is extremely thin and infested with parasites. Roman had a large abscess inside his upper lip that our veterinarian removed. He is doing great. He also has an old injury on his hind leg, but has no signs of lameness. Once Roman has rehabilitated he will make someone an excellent horse. Ladybug was estimated to be 5 years old when she arrived in 2001. She is a registered crop out paint. Unfortunately, we were not able to get her papers.
(McClain County rescue, December 2001.) August 2008 - Ladybug is available for adoption, she was returned to our rescue on July 26, 2008 due to the adoptive family being re-located out of state. Ladybug is seeking her forever, loving home. She is a sweet girl, she was being ridden before she was returned. Before that, she wasn't ridden in several years, she needs to be tuned up in the riding area, but she has great potential. Ladybug is now 11 years old!
